The Draft Goa Social Security Rules, 2021

The Government of Goa vide notification no. 24/20/2021/Lab./564 has introduced the draft Goa Social Security Rules, 2021. The draft addresses the appointment and term of office of members of the Goa Unorganized Workers Social Security Board and the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. It provides requirements and forms related to application, notice, and direction for payment of gratuity and mode of such payment. It further provides for recovery of gratuity, redressal mechanism, and record-keeping requirements.  The government has invited objections and suggestions till the expiry of forty-five days from the date of publication of the draft rules.
