Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification no G.S.R. 59 E, has made amendments to rule 56A of The Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957 where Employer shall on or before 1st day of February in each year shall upload online unified annual return in Form GI in the Web Portal of Central Government in the Ministry of Labour and Employment giving information as to the particulars specified in respect of the preceding year. 

During the inspection the Employers are required to produce to Inspector the documents like accounts, books, registers and other documents maintained in electronic form or otherwise
